Peer Support For First Responders

hope for emergency responders organization
Our peer support connects first responders to a person who shares knowledge based on their common experiences or similar challenges.

HERO’s Warm Line is a phone line for first responders, their families, and their friends. We are here for those seeking helpful resources and peer-support services on their own terms. We provide a confidential, non-judgmental, comfortable environment.

PEER SUPPORT FOR FIRST RESPONDERS

Peer-support is the process of giving and receiving non-clinical assistance to achieve long-term recovery from behavioral health and substance use disorder challenges. Support is provided by trained peers who, based on their similar experiences, provide emotional support, awareness, guidance, tips, suggestions, and an empathetic ear. Above all the program is confidential and first responders are able to seek out peer support and resources on their own terms and in a comfortable environment.
